Ness Point (Gulliver), Lowestoft, Suffolk.
Suffolk's first commercial wind turbine has been built on Ness Point in Lowestoft. It is currently the tallest onshore turbine in the UK at 126m or 413ft. Construction of Ness Point Wind turbine began on the Tuesday 7th December 2004 and was completed at 18:00 on Friday the 10th December. The Turbine is capable of producing 2.75 Mega Watts of energy which is enough to supply 1,500 homes with power.


Parham Airfield, Suffolk Coastal District, Suffolk.
The Parham onshore windfarm consists of 6 100m high turbines which generate approxiametly 7.8 Mega Watts, enough to power 4000 homes. The Parham site was originally the disused Second World War airfield, near Framlingham. The operation is being run by Saxon Windpower.
